Trailblazer Challenge - State Swim
Trailblazer Challenge - We're Doing It!
State Swim is committed to supporting activities and events that benefit the community as well as supporting the health, wellbeing and fitness of our team. This is reflected in two of our key strategic goals:
"to actively develop and support projects and events for the benefit of the community"
"to invest in the ongoing training, development and wellbeing of our team"
So we've decided to challenge ourselves by tackling Trailblazer 2009 - an 18, 34, 50 or 100km trail walk (or run!) through the Adelaide Hills in support of Operation Flinders - a South Australian based charitable organisation that runs a world leading wilderness adventure program for young offenders and young people at risk.
We're raising money, getting fitter and inspiring ourselves (and others we hope!) to reach new levels of health, fitness, well being and community service!
We're committed to:
- Challenging ourselves
- Giving back to the community
- Building an awesome team
- Improving our health
- Increasing our fitness
- Having FUN together!
- Laughing together
- Making decisions together
- Setting new standards
- Sharing the triumphs & the challenges
- Overcoming our fears
- Learning, learning, learning
- Constantly improving ourselves and our community
